FINAL PROJECT CONSULTATION 1

No lectures in this week because this week is the consultation for the final project.

2. INSTRUCTIONS

SELF TITLED -30%

- Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express their own individuality and reflect their personality into digital art self-expression.

- The main idea is to build up self-confidence and discover their interest.

On this project, we need to create :

1. Idea Development (WEEK 11)

- Biography about yourself

- Statement about your work

- Find a references then create moodboard (3 Poster)

2. Design Directions (WEEK 12)

- Create a sketches

- Create a digital poster (1080 x 1920 px)

3. Execution and Post Productions (WEEK 13)

- Import the final poster to after effects

- Develop the composition techniques using Digital Photography & Graphic Design

4. Finishing (WEEK 14)

- Animate your composition in after effects

- Attach the video progress

Video Requirements :

- Duration: 15 second
- Output: .MOV or .MP4 less than 20MB
- Size: 1080 x 1920 px (I.G reel/ story size)

- Biography About Myself

Hello! I am Tracy Angeline Tio, can call me Tracy/ Trac. I'm a student come from Batam, Indonesia and majoring in Creative Media, Taylors University Malaysia.

As an introverted, I've always found solace and inspiration in the quiet corners of my mind. Just like my feline companions, I thrive in the comfort of my own space, cherishing moments of reflection and deep thought. Rather than that, one of my bad habit is i like to procrastinate my work and do it near the deadline.

During my leisure time, I loved to play with my cat, playing game, drawing what i want, and treat myself something like eating yummy food, and watch youtube.

Sometimes, I would like to experience something different from my daily life. I tried to find a color in the monochrome. For example, got a new social circle even with different backgrounds and nationality and mostly supportive for each other. Lastly, I want to have a good me-time where i could chill and listening to myself in silent place.

- Statement About My Work

Based on my short introduction, I had an idea to describe myself by combining two options. One is my habit (personalities, things i like to do). Two, is my dream/ future experience (in fourth paragraph).

To present the "my habit", Poster 2 in my moodboard is a reference on it. It describes the girl inside her places. As my personalities is introvert, I also like to do things in my comfort places. I could add my habit photo around the pot to fulfill myself.

The next one is the "future". I would like to use monochrome color for my potrait and the future would be colorful. Poster 1 and Poster 3 could be the choice for second idea. I tried to combine it. For illustration, i would add a flower illustration and myself behind it to express the silent comfort place and draw a supportive type of friends.

Hopefully, I could fulfill this task by creating a good pieces as i can and be proud of myself for the output. Because this is a big task that could depend our grade, I want to develop it more by adding unique idea rather than previous task.
