FINAL PROJECT : ANIMATED INFOGRAPHICS
Anandya made some character sketches on week 2 and we all agree to use her character.
We started to sketches the frame and animated the first part in filmora. Anandya also do some voiceover and edit it using AI. But she does not feel satisfied of the voice because she said that her voice still had Indonesian accent. As a result, she got helped by her friend that had a English native voices.
Because the scene got changed, we do not animate the leaf falling for frame 31. We found out that those are not make sense and not having relatives to the message.
Anandya almost finished her part which is frame 1-8. Below are her result :
Since these is my part, I quickly fixed it with the help of Anandya. After that, Me and Zhiwei quickly finished our animation part so Anandya could do combine and finalize it.
After we finished it out, Anandya combine all of the video using Filmora. She also add some transitions and sound effect on it.
After a few of hours, Anandya finally finished to compiling the video. We got the video via drive and posted in on our own Youtube.

Animated Infographics
TOPIC : The Journey of a Plastic Bottle
On this project, we need to create an Animation Infographics based on the topic we chosen before. Research the given topic in your group and break down the information into parts of narrative and visualization to educate the viewers about the issue.
Requirement :
- Use questions what, why, where, when, who and how into the building of your narrative before transferring the information onto your storyboard.
- Max 3 min, Min 1.5 min
- Must include some form of data/statistics
- Must use questioning technique and provide answer
Our Teams Consist of 3 Members (Including me) :

WEEK 1 - Data To Information
At first we were discussed to find out the data and information needed. Me, Anandya, and Zhiwei created docs, google slides and spreadsheet together to keep tracking our progress. On first week, we finished the research.

WEEK 2 - Narrative, Concept, Storyboard, Visual, Color
Anandya and me breakdown the script by divided it onto the three part with the visual suggestion and voiceover on it.

WEEK 3 - Creating Assets, Illustration
On week 3, we moved out the character to the illustration. We color it using the palette given.

WEEK 4 - Creating Assets, Assembly into Animation
We continue the storyboard sketches. We only made a short progress on this week due to many others exercises happened. We added a new frame on this week which is Frame 16-24.

WEEK 5 - Assembly Assets Into Animation
On week 5, we finalize all the frame for the storyboard. here are the video :

We also started to divided each scene for 3 people. Anandya took the frame 1-10. Meanwhile Zhiwei on frame 11-20 And i was assigned to Illustrate frame 21-32.

On this week, I also started to moved out the sketches to Adobe Illustrator. I separated every layer as instructed so i could animate it on After Effects.

On this frame, Anandya gave me some sample of her illustrator to color the skin and also the background.

On frame 31, Anandya suggest me if there were too many people on this scene, I could reduced it into two person holding the bottle.
She then realized that the pose of the people look a bit minus, so she helped me to fixed these frames.

I used "Lazydog" font on canva by saved it to the PNG and remove the background. Lastly, move the file to Illustrator.
WEEK 6 - Adding Music & Sound Effect
We finally finished the frame and started to animated it on Week 6. Below are some progress :

On this week, we also got revision on Frame 14 because the style is not same like others frame. We quickly revised it.

WEEK 7 - Finalize Animated Infographic
We almost finished our part and unfortunately, some of the scene seems does not make a sense which is on Scene 26. Mr Shamsul suggest us that the bottle should be burried or could put the picture on Tomb.

WEEK 8 (Extended Week) - Finalize Animated Infographic And Final Outcome
We keep a rush when doing our part. While we do our part, Anandya immediately combine it on the same time and remind us our part that had not been finished.

FEEDBACK
Week 5
Mr. Shamsul said our storyboard is well-made and we have a clear visualization of what to animate for the final product. He suggested we add some highlighted important data like how many plastic bottles are produced and wasted in Malaysia or in World around year, the temperature to mold plastic, etc.
Week 6
We need to rush for the colored animation and styles need to be consistent. For example, Scene 14, the girl running had a different style than others. It should be more chibi /cartoon style.

Week 7
We showed up the final storyboard and some of colored animation to Mr. Shamsul. He suddenly realized and commented that on the scene 26 does not make a sense. The bottle should be burried or can put the picture of it in the tomb. Moreover the transition of the last video should move from left to the right. We immediately fixed it and below are the comparison :

REFLECTIONS
Experience
This project had a big impact for me. From working on a group, doing research - sketches - illustrate until animating and editing each frame on eight weeks gave me a good learning experiences. I also met a senior members that already learn animation beforehand so I could learn and gain a new technique from her.
Observation
I observed that my group quickly feel satisfied when finishing somethings. For example like when we finished the whole storyboard, our progress began slowly when illustrating and animating because we feel that it is safe when we already finished some parts, even if if is not the final outcome.
I should remove this bad things and feel satisfied when we finished the whole final animation and keep progressing before it finished.
Findings
I discovered that every member of my group had a different style and color palette. In this project, it is hard to reached the style consistent because their had their own styles. We should accept every style and could use and practice it when having the group project.
